My sympathy to Ed's family and friends. His death gives me another reason to believe in the after life. I find it impossible to believe that an intelligence like his would simply disappear from the universe, like a light going out.

While I only had the opportunity to meet you once, quite some time ago, I have had the pleasure of knowing your son for a great many years. You did a fine job raising him and he has turned out to be an amazing man.
