Not sure what to say?

I was just thinking about Ed the other day. And every time I go to the IEF offices, about once a week now that I'm retired and working as a consultant, I see his hostas poking through as they do every year in the Spring. A wonderful reminder of a wonder guy! Victoria

We here at the International Eye Foundation think of Ed often and remember his humor and the funny pranks he loved to play. As I noted in my message on his passing, we hope he is enjoying that great golf course in heaven!

I was in the same fraternity as Ed in college and we lived in the same house for a few years. He was a good man - always cheerful and giving. I received a few letters from him after he went to Botswana, but lost track of him eventually. By chance, I found out only today, in talking to a few of our former classmates, that he had passed away . I wish I had been able to stay in touch over the years, but I can get an idea of the good man he continued to be by all the remarks here. My sympathies...

Dear Kathy and Family, I was devastated to hear about Edwin's passing. My heartfelt condolences. I wish you strength and comfort.

May God grant Ed the peace and joy of being with Him for all eternity. Prayers for his wife and sons.

Henderson Family, I am just hearing of this! We had no idea that Ed was ill. Yesterday, we learn ed of Tish's passing (we did know that she was ill) and today we learn of Ed's. We are so very sorry for your loss. Kathy, we hope that you are doing well. We know what a horrible time of it that you had several years back after suffering a stroke. Our best to you and the boys. David, Nancy and Caitlyn Ris

Ed was one of my best friends growing up in Bolivar. While the years took us in different directions, I will always remember his smooth style in any sport and his gracious ways. Heaven has a real class act among the angels now. May God keep your family safe in his tender arms.

I liked and admired Ed very much. He was an outstanding individual.

We was a great guy. Rest in peace.
