A thought on this anniversary of Eileen leaving us. When I remember her I am struck by how much I miss her laugh. It was the exact same laugh as her mother's. Funny what family manners end up being passed down! Rest in peace Eileen, rest in peace. And rest in peace Frances O'Neill as well.

I can still remember the first time I met Eileen. I was sitting in her family's kitchen with her sister Shelia, we had recently become friends. Eileen who was 8 years older than me, came into the kitchen wearing a fantastic black and white checkered suit. I remember saying, "Wow, where did you get that?" She smiled, spun around, said, "Lord and Taylor!" and went up the stairs. In later years we became good friends. You are missed! Rest in peace Eileen, rest in peace.
