Not sure what to say?

Was saddened to learn of the passing of Betty today. For a number of years in the 80s, I was a member of the NCTa Board of Directors ... working on several committees with her. She was just great. Have only big-time positive reembraces of Betty. Tennis and the World lost a good one!

We are so sorry to hear this news. All of us at the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation send our deepest sympathy to her family. What a grand lady! She helped host one of our MCB team competitions and it was a great success thanks to Betty and her team. Tennis was lucky to have Betty involved for so many years. She will be missed. We send our love and prayers.

Betty was the ultimate lady! She was kind beyond beyond belief! I will always remember her.

What a kind, intelligent graceful and accomplished woman. She was inspirational.

A most wonderful, kind, talented, and cheerful person. RIP Betty!!

Best tty Cookson was a very special person who will be sorely missed by all of us fortunate enough to have known her. The epitome of USTA Volunteer, the organization owes Betty and her late husband Bob sooo much. Dennis and I were patois to call them friends.

I am so blessed to have known you. I will forever remember you as the gentle giant and fierce competitor always willing to impart your knowledge on the tennis court and the bridge table. Rest in peace Betty. Fondly, Kathy Rudovsky

Betty was one of the dearest, elegant, and loved among us besides her many achievements and accolades. Bob and I shared many experiences with both Betty and Bob. Went to England and Wimbledon, New York and the US Open together plus Sutter Creek and Lake of the Pines. Betty and I had lunch and dinner together the month before she passed away. I may have the last photo taken of her. I truly loved both of your wonderful parents.
