Elizabeth Dobbs, 75, of Norcross, Georgia, a homemaker, died on Monday, November 13, 2000. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 14, 2000, 6-9 p.m., at R.T. Patterson Funeral Home, 5275 North Buford Highway, Norcross. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 15, at 2 p.m., officiated by the Rev. John Baker. Burial will be at Peachtree Memorial Park.
To all the family of Elizabeth
Dobbs, I extend my heartfelt
sympathy. We never met but I saw
her wonderful quilts at Soapstone
and am a friend of Martti's.
Martti, please know that I am here
anytime you need a big shoulder or
even just a hug. I'm sorry I
didn't know about this sooner; I
would have come by Patterson's.

I met your mother when Martti
worked at the Soapstone Center for
the Arts. Martti and the
Dobbs/Chamberlin women's quilts
were a particularly wonderful gift
to the community. I remember Mrs.
Dobbs with respect and warmth.
Please accept my deep condolences.
I know that the loss of your last
parent leaves a void that is never
quite filled.
