Not sure what to say?

Ellen was a great friend to the many people in the multiple organizations in which she was involved. As a member of the Memorial Congregational Church, she helped organize rummage sales and Christmas holiday sales to support the church and its many causes. Ellen participated in group exercises and walks with friends from the senior center until she was no longer able to do so. She will always be remembered for her wit and incisive analyses in the Short Story Reading Group. Her sense of...

She is now resting in peace

I am so sorry to her of the passing of Mrs. Morgan... I remember her from my LS days and also as a neighbor from a few doors up the street... Mrs. Morgan was an eloquent lovely lady and always an obvious individual that cared about us all and went above and beyond to help people... Her passing is truly a sad day for society... My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends at this sad and tragic time, God Bless...

Ellen was a wonderful part of our neighborhood. To see her and Margaret Mulcahy as they walked around the block on a regular basis and to catch up when they walked by our house was a pleasure. She so often told about her home in Maine and her long history there. I did not know she was a Longfellow descendant! We miss her.

I had the distinct pleasure of spending many years with Ellen as members of the Ridge's Book Club of Acton, MA. Ellen had always read each selection long before the rest of us. She had great insights and shared many stories from her childhood with us. The love she had for her family was ever present. It will not be the same without Ellen. She will be forever in our hearts. I feel honored to have known her.

We thought the world of Ellen. She was such a gracious hostess when my Mom would visit my Aunt Nancy there. She was a very sweet and kind person. Our prayers go out to all her family and friends, Rick and Kaye Malone Blountville, TN
