I was saddened to hear of Emily's death. I send my sympathy to her family and friends.
I worked with Emily at Alexian Brother's Hospital, she in OR and I in PACU. She was an exemplary nurse and I always felt reassured by her ability and presence. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

Mel, your sudden passing away is too hurting to me because we a) shared the same childhood environmental setting, and b) had warm regard for each other as first born first cousins. Once in the 1980s you even fetched me from a ship docked at Oakland, CA, toured me around and had me spend the night at your Muirfield house. As I'm seven years older than you, your abrupt transition to the afterlife made me feel my time is overdue. Anyway, wherever you are now, I'll pray that the Lord will always be with you. I deeply regret I can't come to visit your wake but your Manang Linda and Baby will make up for me.....Manong Rogel

Emily, I remember the times we spent Christmas carolling, the dances we held at St. Victor's and always your happy disposition. God loves you and rest in the home He has provided for you. Tou will be missed but never forgotten.
