Rose,
Its never too late to express ones heartfelt sympathy and especially as i only knew of this that day we met accidentally after 12 years in Dec 2009 in Abuja Airport.
Words can not express my SHOCK at Manny leaving us. I remember the few times we met, especially when you brought David, a baby then. GOD WILL BE YOUR ROCK IN JESUS NAME.

Dear Onwukwe and Duradola Families,

Thank you for the generous spirit of sharing that has been a natural part of knowing Manny and Rose these many years. I will always remember Manny fondly at the summer picnics that he and Rose hosted. God bless you and keep you in his merciful care.

Emmanuel,

It has been said that the "good die young", this has been proven true.

I have lost an exceptional colleague and friend. You will be missed. I know I am not alone in the belief that you have left to your friends and family a legacy that stands as a testimony to a life well lived.

Manny, the news of your passing came to me as a rude shock about two weeks ago. There is absolutely no doubt in my my mind you were one of the greatest guys I ever met. Since knowing you in our days in college back in the late seventies you have always exhibited exemplary character quite in keeping with your pedigree. I am consoled that I had one good chance to be with you in Washington two years ago. We had a wonderful time and relived old times. I had prayed as hard as ever for your recovery upon hearing the news that you had taken ill. Pity you succumbed to your ailment. In your lifetime you were supportive in a very pleasant way to most of the people you encountered. I am assured that though you may not be with us today your wife and two children left behind have a bountiful source of good will to draw from among your numerous friends and acquaintances. May the good Lord treat your soul kindly, forgive your earthly sins, grant you eternal rest and console all members of your family at this great loss. May your exemplaray life continue to inspire all of us who experienced it first hand. Amen
