Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry for your loss. I also went to school with "Butch" - St. Margaret's, Cut Bank High School, and one year at Carroll. As kids, we had so much fun at St. Margaret's! God bless you and your family.

"Butch" was one of my childhood friends in Cut Bank, MT. We would play cowboys and "ride the range" around the SW neighborhood, saving that part of the town from the "desperados". We went through elementary school (a true St. Margaret's Huskie), high school and college together, and shared some really fun times. Butch was always one of the "good guys".

Knew Butch when we were both students at CBHS. Was a great guy to know and was well liked by all.

Mr. Boyle was one of my favorite teachers EVER in Choteau. God Speed Sir!

Gene was a class act as a coach, teacher and as a man. I lived with Gene and Barb my Jr and Sr years of high school in Choteau. I will never forget Gene and I always got a kick out of calling him Dad, later in life, when I saw him at sporting events in Helena. Especially if I was in my police uniform, we got some funny looks from some of the kids. Rest in peace Gene and Thank You for everything you did for me.

I clearly recall Gene "Butch" Boyle as a fine all-around athlete for the Cut Bank High School "Wolves" in the late 1950's. I was a Fairfield HS "Eagle" back then and we had some awesome battles. I am sure he left a tremendously positive impression on the lives of many young people as a long-time educator and coach.
