From cruising on the Danube or the Intercoastal Waterway or getting sand between your toes on Sanibel Island, Gene was the perfect companion. "Geno" always got the perfect table in all the restaurants. A good friend and gentleman leaving us to soon but with many fond memories. We will miss you. Pat & David Endy

Gene helped make life a lot brighter for all that knew him. Youth basketball and baseball never had a greater friend and life mentor. May the entire Hewitt Family take comfort in a life well-lived and a legacy that will live on. Ray and Margie Hoffman, Berwyn
