Not sure what to say?

Here I am about ten years later just to say that I really loved this guy, what a great character. I worked for Baltimore County doing environmental reviews and often worked with Gene on plan submittals. While we all dreaded working with some surveyors and developers, it was always a pleasure to deal with Gene! Not sure why he came to mind today but I Google searched his name and ended up here. RIP, Gene, the world misses you.

thanks for all the great memories! games team was a highlight in my life growing up!

I am sorry for the loss of this great man. I have so many happy, thrilling memories of Mr. Raphel serving as my Pony Club games coach in the early 80's!! He was a no nonsense tough but fun coach! Hot Dog!!! What a great time we all had at practices and picnics on the Raphel's farm. Gene and Alice, they were such a wonderful couple...together again. I love and miss them both and am sorry for Gene's dear friend's and his family's loss. My prayers are with his children: Alice, Teener, Gene,...

Dear Alice, Teener and Gene, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful father with my family and so many other families in the Monkton area. Your dad made pony club a lasting memory for many children who grew up with his influence and dedication. He will never be forgotten. Love Sally Crowder

I had the great privilege of meeting and talking with Mr.Raphel on the Board of Property Review for my cases. My condolences to the family. His presence will be missed.
