FERDINAND ?Fred? M. BICKERT

Fred, 86, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Masonic Home of New Jersey, Burlington Township, NJ.

Mr. Bickert was born and lived in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Mount Laurel in 1956. He was a telephone repairman for Bell Telephone of PA for more than 30 years, retiring in 1984. He also honorably served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Mr. Bickert was a long time and active member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hainesport, NJ.

He was preceded in death by his wife Frances (nee McVaugh) in 2008. He is survived by sons Frederick and Francis; sister Marie Spadafora; grandchildren Paul and Allison; great grandson Paul, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Monday, December 30th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 31st from 9:00 to 10:00 AM both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Tuesday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08036. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Bickert may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church at the above address.

My brother-in-law Fred was certainly blessed with the gift of gab,was always a kind person and never talked unkindly about anyone. He enjoyed life to the fullest.may he Rest in Peace The family is waiting to greet you.
