He gave my kids there first haircuts. What a great person.

Floyd will be missed by many. i grew up around the corner from his house. He let us play in in drive way and always had a coke for us. He was a great friend to my daddy. you guys are reunited once again. RIP.

Floyd always greeted everyone who came by the barber shop with a big, friendly, sincere smile, and it seemed like he knew everyone on a first name basis. I always enjoyed talking with him about local history, about current events, and especially about politics, which he loved. But it wasn't really so much the politics, it was what politics could--or should--do for the average man or woman. He liked people and people liked him.
