Frances C. (McDonough) Hannon of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, a member of St. Andrew's Womens Club and Prayer Group, died on Tuesday, October 24, 2000. Visiting hours are scheduled for Friday, October 27, 2000, 3-7 p.m., at Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower Street (opposite Forest Hills MBTA Station), Jamaica Plain. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 9:15 a.m., from the funeral home to St. Andrew the Apostle Church, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Remembrances in Frances' memory may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice of the Archdiocese of Boston, 310 Allston Street, Brighton, MA 02146.

The Church service was beautiful. It brought tears to my eyes when the song "Gentle Woman" was played. Both my mom (Nellie) and Frances had that in common. A generation of good strong people does leave its legacy. You all did a great job remembering Frances publicly. I have a vision of seeing the three ladies, mom, Frances and Marion Powers together as they went to prayer meeting. We are now the new generation. I wonder what memories...
