Frank D. Dellaquila

DELLAQUILA - Frank D., age 81, on October 29, 2025, in Port Jefferson, NY, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Frank who is survived by his loving wife Rosemary (nee Kowalchuk) Dellaquila both grew up in Seaford, NY and graduated from Seaford High School together in 1962. They were married for sixty years. Cherished father of Frank (Valerie), Lisa (Bill) Scannell and Michael. Proud grandfather of eight beautiful grandchildren Jordan, Jarrett, Corinne (Dan), Billy, Michael, Danielle, Matthew, Jenna; and step grandchildren Shelby and Gary Obst. Loving brother of Fran DeFelice (the late Ralph) as well as sisters and brothers through marriage Jo-Ann and Bruce VandenBergh, Susan and Michael Harrington, Carol Kowalchuk, Christine and John Gallagher. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews extended family and cherished friends. Frank received his MBA in Finance from C.W. Post. He began his career as an Accountant and became the Vice President of Administration at SUNY Farmingdale. In 1984 he left SUNY when he became owner of Hassel Motors, Inc., which is where he retired from. He was also a member and past President at the Rockville Links Golf Club. In lieu of flowers donations in Franks loving memory may be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Alzheimer's Association. Reposing Monday, November 3, 4-8PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford, NY (2 Traffic Lights East of Rte. 135). Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, November 4, at 9:30AM at St. William the Abbot R.C. Church. Interment to follow Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY.
