Not sure what to say?

I often think about Airmen Fred Todd Johnson. I'm so glad my grand children, daughter, and i had the pleasure of meeting this gentle giant. God bless his family, SIP Airmen Fred Todd Johnson. Hattie Lorraine Kirton

To Airmen Fred Todd Johnson family I just found out he pass away. You have my condolences. I am so glad I had the pleasure of my life meeting this wonderful and humble man as well as my Grandchildren and my daughter. I will cherish being in his presence always. May God bless you, Hattie Lorraine Kirton

I am a former student of Mr Johnson!!! I had no idea of his service to our country probably because he was a humble man who truly cared for his students and wanted the best for them! We have lost another member of the Greatest Generation! RIP MR. JOHNSON AND THANK YOU SIR!

My wife Sharon Riley attended Warner in the early 60's - said Mr. Johnson was the best teacher she ever had. She had no idea about his service during WWII. Sadly, another member of the "Greatest Generation" leaves us. RIP Mr Johnson.

Margo, Eric, Todd, we love you and thank God for Uncle Fred. He lived a good life and fought the good fight.

I didn't have the honor and pleasure of knowing Mr. Johnson, but I'm certain that his good deeds and honorable service to his country and community will long continue to inspire others. A true American hero. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

It was my privilege to have known and taught with Fred at Warner. Little did I realize I was teaching with a celebrity! Far be it from Fred to divulge his illustrious past--he was too humble. During the turbulent time of adjustment amid the desegregation order of Wilmington schools in the late 1970's, Fred stood as a beacon of understanding, strength, and support. It was he who made Warner a wonderful place to teach...and the world a better place in which to live. May you soar with the...
