I worked with Fred as a librarian. He glowed with intelligence and great capability. Elegantly interesting, it was a pleasure to share the reference desk. He loved his daughters and was lit with happiness when they connected on the phone. We all had to smile. This guy was our Renaissance man.

Fred, The voice mail you left from late Sept. is saved.. Our last chat a day later, will never forget.. The great times sitting next to you at Giants game and the moment that changed our lives 5th play into the NFC Championship game for you, The trip to the ER and for me 9 months later on Sept.11th..

I did not know Fred Well, but I remember him walking the halls at William Penn and he seemed like such a nice guy - I remember him playing the violin in our high school orchestra. My condolences go out to his family...losing a loved one is very difficult indeed.
