Gene was such a kind and gentle soul. He was always willing to lend an ear without any judgement. I'm so lucky that myself and my kids were a witness to his kindness and humor, and I'm fortunate to have married his son, who he taught the importance of being a good spouse and father to. I will miss him greatly.
