Dr. Tanzman and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Gail was an exemplary leader and one of the kindest women I have ever known. In the early eighties, when Gail was the Supervisor of SPED in Pittsfield, it happened to be a time when I was experiencing some personal problems. Her love for the field of education was evident...

Dr. Tanzman and Family,
On behalf of the Vermont Council for Exceptional Children, we would like to extend our sincere sympathy to you and your family. Gail served as an officer for our Council for many years. She was a wonderful person and will be missed. We appreciated all that she gave to her profession as well as the time and work that she did for VT CEC. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
Mary Barton, President of VT CEC
