We were in such a shock upon hearing the news of Gary's Passing. Our daughter Katey Stoetzel played soccer with Courtney in LSSA. He was her coach for a few years in soccer, and I was Courtney's Coach for one session in Basketball with Katey. I always enjoyed seeing Gary at all of those events. Our thoughts and Prayers go to the family. The Stoetzel Family.. Sharon, Tony, Katey and Abbey.

Although I only knew Gary for a short time through work, my first impression was, "wow what a terrific person". Later his sctions only confirmed what a unique, caring, smart and terrific guy he really was. He left an imprint on my heart and he will be missed tremendously. You are truly an Angel Gary. What a gift god has received, unfortunately it is a huge loss for those that must carry on without you close by.

My memories of Gary or as I called him GC go back to his days as a clerk at EPD. I thought he should get a degree and then consider the police department....obviously he thought otherwise. Mores the better for me though, I had the opportunity to know a wonderful person. My prayers and thoughts are with John, Jason and all of GC's family.

We are so shocked to hear about Gary. There is no greater loss than of a child . Our hearts go out to you John and Carole and to Jason and Johnny and all of Gary's family. A parent should not have to bury a child and at such a young age. May God wrap His arms around all of you and bring you peace knowing that Gary is with his Heavenly Father and is at peace, free from all the sufferings of this world. Know that we are thinking about you and praying for you.

I met Gary when he worked at East Patrol in 1988. His smile (which never seemed to leave his face) was infectious. His dad always beamed when he talked about his boy, and both of them impressed me with their strong Christian beliefs that guided them in their daily lives.

May God bless the family as they deal with the loss of an such an extraordinary human being.
This life seems so unfair when we lose such special people. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and his many friends.
