Not sure what to say?

Kathy,
I only knew Gary for the short 3 years we were at Carroll together. In reading his obituary, I feel that he was the same strong person, as his life progressed into being a husband, father and member of your community and the business associates he served. His love for nature being a force in his life, enriched those around him: a soft spoken caring and kind sole.
We roomed together J-term 1976 in St. Croix. We both spoke of wanting to go back sometime. Vicki and are going...

Kathy,
I was so sad to hear of Gary's passing. I have fond memories of him and the pranks he played on us whenever I visited Tammy at the Hartnett house. I also remember how you and Gary hosted us in Madison during our college years. I was glad I had the chance to reconnect with you last year in Marshfield when I was home from Africa. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your entire family...

So sorry to hear of Gary's passing...Had a very nice visit with him last time he was home...He was a man to be extremely proud of. Prayers & love to all.

I attended 1st grade at Sacred Heart Catholic School with Cynthia Harnett. I am so sorry for your loss. Gary sounds like a great guy. God bless you and your family.

Dear Kathy & Family,
Gary was a classmate of mine at Columbus High School in Marshfield, WI. We had quite a few classes together as we were both in the advanced math and algebra programs. Gary was also athletic, kind to his fellow classmates and an all around great guy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

It is with great sadness that I learned about the passing of Gary. I know how hard it must be for his family and he will surely be missed. As I reflect on how Gary impacted my life and the lives of those around him, I realize the great legacy he has left behind. How he positively influenced all the young people and their parents through his involvement in Scouting. The many camping trips, years of scout camps, backpacking and canoe outings, helping boys turn into young men. Watching my...
