Not sure what to say?

Wendy and family, I am just learning of Gary's passing. So many memories from the original Shoneys on Russ avenue. I remember when he bought the store. Hearing how tough the new owner was. Turns out this tough guy only wanted you to do your job. He expected and demanded excellent customer service. Nothing wrong with that. Reflecting back, I learned so much working for Gary, Wendy, Sam and Bill Lowe. I appreciate all your family has done over the years. May the Lord continue to hold...

My dearest Wendy, Lauren and John, I am saddened by the passing of Gary and our deepest sympathy for your loss. Gary was a truly wonderful man! My first job was with him at Tunnel rd. I never met a finer boss. Know you are in our thoughts. Gary has moved on to fishing in an endless pool always stocked in heaven. He will be greatly missed. What a beautiful legacy he has left with us. All our love, Chad & Nancy Nesbitt

Wendy I'm so sorry for your loss. Your in my prayers. I worked for you and Gary at all the shoneys except Franklin and Waynesville and loved everyone. You and your husband were so kind to me.

I´m so saddened by the death of such a great man. Gary was a friend to everyone. My mom, Imogene, although her mind is damaged by dementia, still has happy thoughts and admiration for Gary and Wendy. Prayers of comfort and peace are being sent to Wendy and all his family and friends.

I knew Gary through Shoney's. To know Gary was to be his friend. Gary was the best owner I ever knew. Great to his customers and his employees. I will always cherish the time I got to spend with him and Wendy. Wendy we are here for you and praying for you and your family.

I worked for Gary at the Shoney's in Waynesville for many years. He and Wendy were very good to me and my two small girls. He never ask of you, what he wasn't willing to do himself. They treated us like family... What a great loss. Wendy, you and your family will be in our thought and prayers.

So sorry for the loss you are facing. Gary was a great boss. I worked for the Lowe family for years at shoneys. Wendy, you take care. You made Gary's life happy.
