Geoffrey Chester

Thirty years ago I made a decision to come to Cornell because in our discussions then Associate Dean Chester impressed me as a man of his word, a colleague who could be trusted. Over the years, that first impression was confirmed again and again. Geoffrey Chester was a modest but most rare person of absolute integrity who by nature understood fairness and generosity of spirit.
