Geoffrey Frank Margolis

Geoff was a unique, energetic and important guy who led an important life. I worked with him at the Department of Insurance. Whenever we talked the discussion wound its way to his wife and sons, to baseball, to UCLA, to politics. He was an idea guy. I learned a lot from him. My fondest memory is sitting at a work sponsored Giant game with him many years ago - when the Giants weren't doing so well - and him opining on what was needed to fix the team. Nothing hurts more than the sudden loss of a kind, good man who was the stalwart of his family. My heart aches for all of you. May Geoff´s memory be a blessing for his family and friends, and also a call to action to improve healthcare in our state. With love, Paula
