Condolences to his family

A long, good and crazy life.

My father, Gerald L Kennedy worked for Geoff at CJON in the late sixties, early seventies and spoke of hime often. Dad passed away in 2009 but would have been sad to hear of Geoff's passing.

Namaste Geoff - you have inspired many and have given to us the gift of coming to understand that it's right and calming to embrace the eternal life - your abundant energy lives on in the lives you have touched and beyond.

A couple of years ago I emailed NTV regarding the status of some old television programs and instead of receiving an email response, I received a telephone call directly from Mr. Stirling. He took the time to chat with me on a Friday night for nearly half an hour. He was an inspiring man and he willl be missed by many. My sincere condolences to the Stirling family.

My sympathies to the Sterling family for the loss of this special man. I had the privilege of knowing three generations of Stirlings Geof, Scott ,and Jesse what a beautiful family . Geof was a legend in our field and he was a truly great leader . His spirit will live on through his children, grandchildren and all those who were touched by his kindness, and down to earth style of leadership. Canadian media has lost one of their greatest pioneers.

Death is but crossing the world as friends do the seas. They live in one another still for death is no more than a turning of us over from time to eternity. SOLITUDE by Wm. Penn

I thought is was some druggie off the street who had spent the night in the studio ! I told him that as the morning show was starting, he would have to leave the...
