Not sure what to say?

Dear Baitinger Family,
I knew George the entire time he worked for FCTG.
We had good times in and out of the office. He was known as a laid back fisherman. He go on the trip and not care if his line got wet. He would rather take a hike along the Deschutes than bag a steelhead.
George was always a joy to be around and always had a good story.
I still ran into George after he retired, many of the times were at Hongs with Saky. We would laugh at my foolish days.
He...

Dearest Jane,
My heart goes out to you, your mom and siblings. If I had ever met your father, I would have told him, and your mom, thank you for having such a wonderful daughter. You are a great friend, Jane, and I wish I could be with you during this time. Your empathy and friendship when I was going through the same thing with my dad and mom will never be forgotten. God Bless your Dad now and forever.

Love,
Gerilyn

George and I lived close to each other and were both GP employees and co-travelers. We climbed many mountains together. He was an excellent and trusted climber and we shared many Mountaineering adventures. I will miss him

Lois and Family,
George is still"breaking trail" for everyone, this time I feel it is especially for me,he passed away on my birthday.
George may not have realized my admiration of his outdoorsmanship. As close friends of Bob and Fran for over 30 years, we feel fortunate to have crossed paths and shared good converstions with George, whether...

I had the privilege to work for George at Georgia-Pacific prior to the company relocating to Atlanta. He was such a kind and remarkable man. Because of George, my years at G-P were wonderful and shaped my future in the wood products industry. Your fellow 7th floor G-P work friends will always remember you George. My deepest condolences to Lois and the rest of the Baitinger family.

Thank you George for leading us to many a summit. Gerry van Deene, Mazama

What a beautiful tribute. Sending so much love your way, Lorrin

George was an inspiration and pillar of strength. He and Lois were our neighbors for over 20 years and we miss them both very much. George will always be remembered for his great view of life and a genuine heart of gold; many conversations about life and marriage were had on our front porch. Please convey to Lois my sorrow for her loss of a wonderful husband.

I had the privilege of working with George at Georgia-Pacific. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor. My condolences to the family.
