George Marshall Vangorden

George was my Uncle, and beloved by all of us.

I only met him once. It was at his mother's, my great grandmother's, funeral. At the time and even more so now, thought he bore a striking resemblence to Mamo as well as my grandmother. I was in awe of him. He was my grandmother's brother and she never stoped talking of him because she loved him so much. She was proud of his artistic accomplishments and for just being her brother.
