I had known Matt since we were in grade school together. I remember fondly being his friend then and through high school in Whittier, California. I remember when he would invite me to go swimming with him at the old Whittier YMCA when we were in grade school and I remember Matt being in water polo in high school. I'm sad you are gone, Matt.

It was really nice to know you and to volunteer with you at the VFW Post 1929 # 16 during the VFW post fundraiser events and 4 the of July events. And sharing conversation with 1 another. May you rest in peace and to share that we will hold on to our memories of light of you in our thoughts and every 4th of July Breakfasts fundraiser.
