She had a wonderful career in the medical field of almost forty years, working as a registered nurse at the Whidden Hospital, Boston City and Frisbie Memorial Hospital, where she served in the delivery room and counseling staff of the Chemical Dependency Unit. Upon retiring from nursing, she focused on her other passion, teaching, spending two years working with her “kids” at the Paul School in Wakefield, NH as a teacher’s aide.

Marge,

I am sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I pray the God of all peace will comfort you and your family.

Hi John,

I'm sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Thinking of her and your family brought me back to so many of my early childhood memories at your house. I’ll always remember your Mom as a warm and loving person that put up with our crazy antics when we were just little kids. Please pass along my condolences to the rest of your family, especially Marjorie. God Bless.

John- Jan and I were very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing and we are thinking of you during this difficult time.

John, I was sorry to hear about your mothers passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

We will miss her always smiling face and pleasant personality. As tough as things were, she always was gracious and sweet. May God welcome her to his Kingdom and bless her grieving family.

Marge, John, Glenn:
How can I express how sad I am that your mom has gone. We have such great memories we have shared over the years, Alaska and especially when we went to Europe and roomed together. We shared many laughs and tears over the years and now with my mom passing so suddenly 4 days later I share your grief in a whole different light. Just remember how wonderful your mom always was, she had such a gift to share and she did that without hesitation. I loved her like a sister...

Marge,

Prayers and thoughts go out to you and John. I'm certain your mother left behind a legacy, and brought hope to many people. Take care of yourself!

Glenn and family,
I'll never forget how nice your mother was to me from the first time I met her. Whenever we (Kevin, Tom, Todd, entire youth group, whoever it was) stopped in, she was always offering us snacks and talking to us about what we were up to, etc.

I have many fond memories of fun times at the Mersereau home. Where everyone was welcome and always got a big hug.
