Grace was a close friend of my mother (Mary Jo Chiesa)'s for roughly sixty years, and one of my own first friends as a toddler. She and Mom had many crazy adventures together, among them going several times for a "girls' week" at the Bit-'n'-Bridle "dude ranch" somewhere in the Adirondacks (I was little enough that I have no idea where it was located), just the two of them. Grace was always involved in something interesting, and took a beautiful (prize-winning?) photo of me and my sister at...

Grace was the loving companion of my father, Hubert B. Sapp Jr. for 30 years. I spent lots of time with her over the years. She was a smart, articulate lady with many interests including photography, horses, and antiques. RIP Grace.

Grace worked for me for many years at the UofR. She was especially skilled in computers. But her love was photography, history and horses. She will be missed by all of us who knew her.

Grace was always cheerful and upbeat. She was the hospitality chairman of The Photographic Historical Society for many years. She was an excellent photographer and took many photos at our triennial symposia.
She attended many TPHS events and Mensa meetings with her good friend, Hubert Sapp.
Grace was a descendant of John Raines, US and NY state Senator from Canandaigua. He built Thendara, his home on Canandaigua Lake. Her aunt was the society editor of the Canandaigua...

I worked with Grace for many years at the U of Rochester. She was a resourceful problem solver and a fun person to work with. I've missed her ever since she retired. I'm sorry to hear that she's gone.

Grace was a long time member of The Photographic Historical Society. She was a very fascinating person and helpful to the society. I will miss her.
