Not sure what to say?

I met Grace through the running community and we used to run with a regular group on Sundays. Our friendship extended beyond running and we would meet for lunch in Decatur at a sushi restaurant. Grace would speak Japanese with the service staff. I loved listening to their conversation even though I knew nothing of the Japanese language. I thought her upbringing was so remarkable. She was such a sincere friend and I admired her commitment to her faith. She was a very special person and friend.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a well-loved person. Grace and I were roommates many years ago, and I recall so many wonderful memories--the late-night talks, travelling together, going to concerts together, staying up with me (although falling to sleep on me--ha) while studying, her infectious laugh, her constant cheerfulness and positive attitude, and so many stories. She was so interested in and treasured everyone she met. I'm so sorry to hear about her passing, and oddly,...

I initially met Grace when she worked at Miura in Atlanta. She was so gracious to take the time to provide me many helpful details in preparation for my trip to Japan for a business trip to Miura. That begain our friendship that I will cherish. Grace's happiness, thoughtfulness and caring personality will be never forgotten. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers to those who were closest to her and her family.

I also flew with Grace and thought she was the closest thing to the perfect flight attendant. She loved everyone and found a way to laugh thru the worst of times. To love is to know grief...I grieve with the family. My sympathies, as she was one of a kind and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of her company.

Dearest Grace, You beautiful, beautiful human being. What a loss the world suffers losing you. I am so thankful that I had the honor and the pleasure of flying with you. You were a blessing to any life that you touched. You will be sorely missed always. In loving, loving memory. Lynn Peter retired F/A ATL

Dearest Grace, who still makes ms laugh when I remember your telling me that your doctor was concerned about a missed appointment.... but, Gee, you were attending a round table event with Henry Kissenger.
Your gentle spirit and kindess are a blessing in my life.

I am so sorry I never had the pleasure of meeting and flying with someone who was so perfectly named, Grace and Joy. She sounds like someone I would have loved to have shared a jumpseat with and she will be missed by many Delta passengers and personnel.
Kindest Regards,
Marta Stewart (Delta Clipped Wings, Oct. 1969 class)

What a phenomenal example of the balance between a career and faith in God. I wish more could learn of her experience and be inspired by it. Having a sister with breast cancer presently, I find great impetus in Grace's story even though she has lost the battle with cancer. I focus not so much on the fact she is gone, but on the fact that she lived...and lived well by touching the lives of many. May her faith in God continue to inspire others to have a similar faith and devotion. My heart goes...

Harold, Sarah, John and all those fine nephews and nieces too - Grace did you proud. She was beautiful here, imagine what heaven looks like now!
