Not sure what to say?

Greg was possibly the most consistently committed person to social justice activism that i've known. He was the epitome of unwavering hope for a better world. So many marches, vigils and gatherings, despite pain in his joints and a huge struggle to move, he'd still show up, carrying signs and supplies. Unstoppable.

The world will be less without Greg in it. My love to the entire family. Gay

Hard to think of the task ahead without the determined fire in the belly of this kind, resilient, and persistent spirit. I worked with Greg on a couple of issues and always felt gently led - but led nonetheless. Great loss to us all.

Condolences to Greg's family and friends. He was a faithful warrior for peace and justice and he will live on in the hearts and minds of all who were blessed to have him in their lives.

Greg was a man of cottage and a champion for those without a voice.

I have known Greg since I met him on the basketball court at the downtown Portland YWCA in the summer of 1998. He was extremely welcoming and had a nice three point shot. Greg got me involved in the social justice movement, mainly with Oregon Fair Trade. In the summer of 2005, I just got the letter from Black Rose Books that wanted to publish my book, and that I had six months to finish the final draft. A month later, I hadn't even begun the final draft, but I was dumb enough to tell Greg...

I have known Greg since his paralegal days with Tim Norwood, and I recruited him into our fantasy football league several years ago. I will miss him very much, with his great sense of humor and love of our football league.

I'll remember his positivity and fighting spirit. He did so much for our community, he will be missed.

I know a lot of dedicated people, but I see Greg as the most dedicated of all, giving his energy and heart to what was important. Always on the go, always smiling, always with an inner drive to make things better. He left our world too early.
