I will always remember we spent one of your last days together doing your flowers. You and Joan are like family to me and you are always in my prayers. Joan Podyma Waukegan

To the biggest Bulls & Packer Fan: Hal was like a second Dad to me after my Dad passed away. I will never forget the wonderful times we spent together. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful wife, Joan. You will be missed. Love, Sandy Molinaro

Hal was a generous, good natured, wonderful person. I will miss hearing his voice and especially his laugh. I will miss seeing him smile. I will miss him. . . and only missed seeing him by 2 weeks before he died. I am so sorry about that. I wish I could have seen him one more time.

his step-daughter

Hal was a loyal friend and confidant to the whole Coulson family. He served the public honorably and tirelessly. He was truly a renaissance man! Rose and Bill Coulson

I will miss Hal's emails and e-cards - they made my day! I have enjoyed knowing him. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

The philatelic community will long remember Hal's contributions. His love of First Day Cover collecting was always greatly admired. He will be missed.
