Mineer, Harold
Harold "Joe" Mineer of Glendale, AZ passed away, Monday, November 9. 2015 at his home. Joe was born in St. Johns, AZ, graduated from Window Rock High School, and was an avid AZ outdoorsman. Joe is survived by his mother Deanne Mineer; children Karen, Sandra (Rick) Finley, and Carson Mineer; siblings Roy Mineer, Dorothy Hailey, Diane (John) Klein, Jim ( Marilyn) Mineer, Myrl Mineer and Danelle Mineer; grandchildren Jamie, Rick, Logan, Travis and Jacy ; great-grandchildren Macy, Christopher, and Stephanie and many wonderful friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his father Harold and sister Donna. Joe retired as a Phoenix Police Sergeant after 20 years of service. Dedicated and determined in his younger years, Joe was willing to quit his job if he couldn't get off work for hunting season. When he wasn't hunting or fishing, he was a collector of many things and accomplished fixer, a creative repurposer and, a self- taught taxidermist, and a skilled craftsman. His talents and his presence will be greatly missed.
