Not sure what to say?

What can I say, you were the best other mother a girl could want. I will miss you dearly Mama Harriet.

Dear Gidget, My condolences to you re the loss of your wonderful mother who had a wonderful daughter... YOU!

Harriet and Ed, and my husband Doug Chappell (deceased 2017) and I, we sure were a great foursome! Thank you Harriet and Ed for the wonderful times shared together at Jamaica and Tennessee! Sure will miss Harriet's warmth and kindness. Just knowing you both and being in your presence was beautiful! My thoughts are with you Ed.

Harriet will always be remembered by me for the way she handled "life" with grace and sincerity. I love you momma. Rest in peace.

Harriet was there for me when I was but a stranger, over the years we became much closer. I found Her to be a strong woman with a love for life, she had a strength about Her you felt as well as you could see. I came to think of Her as a second Mother and will miss Her all the days of my life.

She was a gracious lady, talented in many ways, her home was decorated by her for Christmas each year, every room had a tree, and rivaled any professional. I am privileged to have known her

Harriet and I started school together at Crockett High School in 1945, and graduated together in 1957. We were very good friends through all 12 years. We shared many, many wonderful memories. Life took us in different directions and we didn't keep in touch which I regret. She was a wonderful person.

Her smiles came easily and so did her laughter. I’ll miss you Aunt Harriet. Love, Lisa

I will miss Harriet’s laugh and smile. She was always such a classy and intelligent lady who loved us all with everything she had. She was a wonderful mother in law and friend as well as a fantastic grandmother to my daughters.
