Harriet D. Eib

Harriet D. Eib, age 99, a longtime resident of the Daytona Beach area passed away on April 17, 2015. She was born January 11, 1916 in Trenton, NJ to the late Conrad and Florence (Young) Fink. Her last year was spent in the wonderful hands of the caregivers at Indigo Manor Nursing Home. She was a loving and devoted wife to her late husband of 63 years, Harry Eib who passed away in 1998. Harriet was a wonderful mother to her three children. In her early years she enjoyed working in the kitchen at St. Mary's Hospital in, New Jersey. Once coming to Florida, she enjoyed participating in events at her church. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, Port Orange where she most enjoyed being a greeter at the Walk Thru Bethlehem. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Rupp (James) of Lake Butler, FL; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A visitation will take place at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Friday, April 24, 2015, with funeral services to begin at 11:00 am.
