From the first time I met Bev's family, I've been in awe of Helen's strength and grace. She was the glue that held her large and diverse family together over the years. Bev would talk about the every-Sunday open house she had for her progeny as they grew and brought their children home to eat dinner and visit with her and those still at home. So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was one of my favorite teachers at St. Peter's. That was a lovely photo and obituary. It caught my eye immediately when I finally got around to reading the Sunday Oregonian.
My condolences to you and all your family. You were blessed with 100 years but it's still hard to adjust.

No words can even express. Mrs. Bedney may have had nine kids by birth, but she had dozens more by her boundless love, acceptance and patience. And every one of us considers ourself to be the tenth Bedney child. God bless you Mrs. Bedney! And give Amby a hard time for us all! You are so very loved.
