We worked with Helen at the Kansas City Public Library, where we were fortunate enough to become her friends.
Her smile and laugh were always present, and we can't think of a time when she wasn't offering a piece of candy or a hug.
She was one of those special people that we will always consider ourselves blessed to have known.

Helen was my mentor when I first came to work for Kansas City Public Library and remained a good friend throughout our careers. Such a gracious, loving lady!!

I worked with Helen (and Josephine) at the Kansas City Public Library. She was always willing to volunteer her time, assist any who needed help, always worried about the students she encountered and was just a genuinely sweet person who thought of others always.
