My mom was always my best friend when I needed one, she was understanding, loving and supported me in whatever I chose to do even when it was wrong. She was everything I hoped I'd be as a mother,a wife and especially as a person. She was supermom before it became popular and will always be very special to me. I will miss her very much! So sorry to hear about your mother. In the early '70s I spent many days in the company of Ellen which took me to her home. It was there that I met the entire family. She, in turn, spent time with my family, too. All of that changed when she moved out of state. Now that she is back, I hope that her time with her mother these last few years gave her good memories. It would be my honor to visit during your shiva period, if there is one.
