Henry Reinhard Obituary

Henry Conrad

Reinhard

1939-2013

Henry Conrad Reinhard, age 73, passed away on the morning of March 11, 2013; survived by the love of his life, Judy and his three children Heidi, Clark, and Lance. He was born on December 2nd, 1939 to Henry and Janet Reinhard (both deceased) and grew up with two sisters; Joy and Janet and 3 brothers; Rande, Tim, and Bob who have all also survived him.

Henry was a hard-working, family oriented man who was known for his selflessness and deep desire to help others. He spent his childhood in Cleveland, Ohio where his strong work ethic flourished at a young age. Kent state was the next road stop and it was here that he earned his degree in Business Administration and Accounting. His love for this profession allowed him to both enjoy his work and provide a wonderful life for his family.

Caring, giving, selfless, humble, hard-working, silly, challenging, loving. There are so many words that can describe this wonderful man. Whether it was the two years he spent in the Peace Corps or the many years he dedicated to Big Brother and The United Way, he has touched so many lives through his volunteering and random acts of kindness. He has shown us all how important family and fun are, while also stressing the importance of hard work and self-motivation. Whether he was telling you that "you can do better" or he was spoiling you with everything you could ever want he certainly always seemed to know how to handle any situation.

Your love and kindness will never be forgotten and your words of wisdom will always be cherished. Thank you for being the best son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend that anyone could ask for. We will miss you, but we know that you are in a better place. We all send you our thanks and love and can't wait to reunite with you again someday!

We appreciate donations in Henry's honor be made to Covenant Hospice at West Florida Hospital, 8383 North Davis Highway 3 North, Pensacola, Florida 32514.

National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

The New Family

March 18, 2013

Judy, Heidi, Clark, and Lance,

"A Letter From Heaven"

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness;
Here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on.

I need you here so badly, you are part of my plan.
There is so much that we can do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night the days chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years.
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who is in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night....My day was not in vain.
And now I am contented... that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick them up, as on your way you go.

When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when its time for you to go...from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going...you're coming here to me

You will be missed Hank. The day I met and hired you back in 2007 I knew from our first meeting that you were special and you more than proved me right! What a pleasure it was to have known you and worked with you. You will always be a part of my fond memories.
