SALT--Herbert Bernard, died December 24, 2011 at 75. President of Excelsior Merchandising Co., which was founded by his father in 1919. Survived by wife Marian, daughters Michele and Donna, sister Gloria Gover, and two grandchildren. Donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
