I had the pleasure of knowing & caring for Herb during his time at Rolling Hills. I am so grateful for the time I was able to spend with him & getting to know the amazing man that he truly was! He always had the kindest words to say about me & those words as well as the memory of him will forever have a place in my heart! You will be forever missed my friend but never forgotten!! I worked with Herb at Lamar from 1985 to 1991. He was Operations manager and I did leases so we had to work together on things a lot. He always wanted to do things right and to the best of his ability. I still can hear his laugh. He was a genuine guy and I learned more from him than anyone else. I've thought about him over the years and I'm sorry he suffered. Best wishes to Bonnie and your entire family.

From my childhood until my adult life, you were a big part of my life. From staying with you and Gram every weekend, walking in the woods behind the house, you teaching me how to "properly" dust a coffee table lol, staying up all night with you when Gram was in the hospital, keeping an endless amount of bob Evans sausage at my house when you lived here because you loved it so much, so so so many memories that will forever be in my heart. I love you so much Pap. The kids and I will miss you...
