I am saddened to learn of Herm's passing. I had not seen him in recent years, but I can attest that he was a story teller extraordinare, and I spent many an evening at the American Legion, being regaled with tales of his travels. Herm was a good man who served his country honorably. He, and his family, are in my prayers.
