Dear uncle Hilvan, my father Ruel (Roy) told me the stories of growing up with you in St. Croix USVI. He was so happy to fish with you and uncle Joe as he explained " getting away from the house". He has always mentioned you and uncle Joe as "my two uncles" with pleasure. Rest well dear uncle Hilvan. Rise In Power! Your niece Frances Brown.

Dear Mr Finch I am the little girl that lived a few house away from you. You took me under wing and made me feel at home in your house. We moved when I was 7 years old but I have never forgotten you. I think of you often and you children. I wish we could have seen each other again but I didn't know your first name. You made a great impression on me and I want to send you my thanks and love.

When I was younger, my family resided on the first floor on McClellan Street with Mr. Finch. He was a very nice man. He will be missed.
