Not sure what to say?

We would like to extend our sympathy to Alma and Thomas at the passing of Horst.
It was our pleasure in meeting Horst and Alma at Lion's Gate Hospital. Horst was Ian's room mate where they tried to outdo each other telling stories and finding mutual friends and life experiences.
He was so appreciative in the very little things done and always kept his sense of humour and a twinkle in his eye. He will be missed.
Love to you, Ian and Marina, Jeff and Sandra Bailey

I met Horst years ago while I was still in Vancouver, and seldom missed one of his wonderful travel shows. He was a warm and gracious man with extraordinary class. He touched many lives in ways that can't be measured in any Earthly way, and though I knew him only casually and largely through his t.v. programs, it was indeed a privilege. His was a rich, admirable life. My heartfelt condolences to Alma and Thomas.

We have all lost a wonderful soul. Horst Koehler was unique in that he did it all his way; never a follower; always a leader.
For all the years that I have known him, he was always an idealistic self-starter, creating his own publishing, radio and television persona with dignity, skill and originality. He was also a close and cherished friend and associate; with a wonderful sense of humor even while suffering great pain.

Horst was not just a good friend in broadcasting but...it it wasn't for his help getting my Thai wife's visa, I doubt she could have made it to Canada..now married 26 years. Thankyou Horst

It was an honour to know you
A privilege to call you Friend

Auf Wiedersehen, Horst
