Isabelle Mink

Isabelle Mink Memphis Isabelle Mink, 102, of Memphis, went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 21, 2013. She was born in Springfield, Illinois on January 23, 1910, a daughter to the late Dominic and Agota Martin. She married Travis D. "T.D." Mink on January 17, 1931 in Detroit and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1994. Isabelle had been employed as a bookkeeper and served with the Memphis Elevator and the Memphis Community Schools. She also worked in the school cafeteria. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and as of April 4, 2006, she was made a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 168, Richmond, Michigan. Surviving are her daughters, Alice (Gene) Baker of NY and Jane Walker of Richmond; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughters, Betty Moher, Nancy Trabel and Ruby Bauman; and her brother, Frank Martin. Services will be held in Kammeraad Funeral Home, Memphis, on Friday, January 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. with visiting in the funeral home on Thursday 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. and Friday 10 - 11 a.m. Eastern Star service will take place on Thursday at 7 p.m. www.kammeraadfuneralhome.com Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Blue Water Area Humane Society, 6266 Lapeer Rd., Clyde, MI 48049. www.bluewaterareahs.org
