Not sure what to say?

One of the kindest and sweetest souls on earth now sits among the angels in heaven. While we're saddened by his passing, we're so grateful we had the opportunity to see Gerald's smile and hear him laugh only weeks before because they always brought joy to anyone in his presence. May our Lord and Savior comfort your loved ones with a peace that passes all understanding. Rest In Peace our brother until we meet again.

Jewel was a big man in statue but he had a kind and gentle heart. He enjoyed attending G W Carver High School Class Reunions and was often the first to send in the registration fees once the date was announced. The reunion was where My wife Barbara and I met his wonderful wife Vera and where we thoroughly enjoyed fellowshipping and socializing with them.

To the family, Barbara and I extend Our Deepest Sympathy to you for your loss. We know that you will truly miss Jewel but may you...

Vera, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so glad I had the opportunity to see Gerald at Daddy's birthday party last month. I am shocked and saddened to learn of his death. He, Vera, & Neva have been part of our family for years! Mommy considered you all her children and loved you as we all do. Gerald will be missed by all....such a loving and kind man. I thank God he was part of our lives. Vera, you are not alone for you ARE and will remain our sister for eternity. May God keep you and provide comfort now and in the days ahead....
