Not sure what to say?

Maya and Uncle Jim, so proud of their catch!

Catching Walter

Thanks for showing me how to catch Walter Uncle Jim!

Elsie, Cristina and Stephanie,
We love you all and think of you often. I am posting the picture of Maya when she did catch Walter after years of mentoring by her Uncle Jim.
We think of him often and are so grateful for his fishing lessons, fossil hunting adventures, snake catching, and mostly his wonderful laugh!

Hello Everyone,

From my Mom, my sister and I thank you so much for all of your kind words. It means so much to us to hear such nice things about our Dad during this difficult time.

-Cristina

Dear Elsie y familia,

Dear Elsie,
Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved husband, Jim. It doesn't seem possible that it has been 30 years since we were all so young and just starting out on Chestnut Street.
Our hearts are filled with grief for you, Cristina and Stephanie.
Sincerely, Jenna and Bill Whitman

Dear Elsie, Cristina, and Stephanie,

I had the privilege of working with Jim at T.I. from 2003-2006. He was a great man who was full of passion, humor, and kindness. I enjoyed many laughs with him and learned a lot from him about both life and work. My life was truly enriched by knowing him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ would fill you with His love, hope, and grace in the midst of this trial, and that He would also give you a tangible sense of...

I'll miss you Jim. I'll carry on your fishing techniques and share them with many who also wish to catch the infamous Walter. I have great respect for You and Elsie. You've both been awesome family members and I hope Elsie can stay strong through this. To everyone, a quote by Tupac ( whom Jim was an avid fan and would share lyrics and facts about ) :

"During your life, never stop dreaming. No one can take away your dreams"

Dear Elsie and girls,
I had the good fortune of working with Jim at Texas Instruments when I was first out of college in the late 90's. In my first foray into the scary corporate world Jim was a welcome friendly face. I was so shocked to open the paper and see that same face staring back at me today with such sad news. My deepest condolences to each of you, who it was so evident meant so very much to him.
