Not sure what to say?

I knew Mike years ago (1980) when we would go down to the lake and sing great songs while he played his guitar. It is memories I have always cherished. Ron Klee (God rest his soul) and Pat Klee and Karen and Julie and Barbara Caster would go down there with me and Carl (Mike's brother) (who was Ron's best friend) would be there. Mike was a great person and I'll never forget him.

I remember being at the Lake with Mike and his family. My husband, my sisters and I would sing our hearts out to "Love Potion #9" and "Let it be Me" and I will never forget his blonde combed back hair and black shoes and jeans and white t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up. God rest his soul in peace.

Earlier today I spoke with Susan/Rusty & she thanks everyone for the wonderful comments about Mike. She wanted me to let you know you can email her directly at:

Thanks!

Our prayers and love are with you, We know how hard and sad it is to have to say goodbye to someone you love,Mike will forever be in our thoughts and hearts. Our love to the family. Love Nellie and Donnie

Mike was one of the funniest and nicest people we ever met. We cannot even begin to count the numerous fun times we had with Mike on the patio at Beamers. It didn't matter what kind of a day you were having, if Mike was there you were going to laugh. There are few people who have the gift to make others laugh no matter their circumstances. Mike is one of those people. We will miss him a lot.

Uncle Mike had the ability to make EVERYONE feel like the most important person in the world. We thank the Lord for allowing us to spend time with him here on earth. We know you are in the Lord's hands know Uncle Mike. We love you and you will be missed.

He will be truly missed. He was such a great man, always there for everyone, willing to help anyone. Mike was there for me on a number of occasions & helped me through difficult times in my life. Words cannot express how truly sorry I am for his family.

"Not a man umoung him" Mike Forbes used to say. He was like a father to me in many ways and we love him. Most of all we are happy to know he is with God now looking down on our "smiling" faces as he wanted.
Love to all,

The Lusk Family
