Donna and family, We are so deeply sorry about Jim. I know our mom, Darlene, was always so close with the Gerdes family and loved seeing Jim when he would come home. I remember when we were younger he always seemed so gentle and soft spoken. His picture reminds me so much of his dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Boone Jim was one of my best friends; he was full of life 24/7, with joy and love for everyone who enjoyed spending time with him. He had, indeed, a heart of Gold. So kind, gentle, and generous. He was a Heavenly Being living on Earth!!! Love & hugs to you, Donna, and your wonderful family!!! This good man will be missed by many!!! Love you, Jim!!!

I´m so sad to hear of Kim´s passing. Saw him last year at the All School Reunion and was so good to him and Donna together! My memories include a photo from one of the NCHS yearbooks of him running up and down bleachers ( or stairs) to sweat off weight for wrestling! He was a great wrestler!
